Transition to A-Level

EDEXCEL Transition to A-Level Course

The transition from GCSE to A level Maths can be challenging but, with plenty of practice, it most certainly is a rewarding experience. The chapters below focus on activities which help students to master the key skills that are needed in both AS and A level Mathematics. The topics are mainly those found in the overlap between GCSE and AS mathematics.

Each chapter contains between 10 and 15 videos for students to watch, along with a downloadable PDF of example questions, practice questions and End of chapter exam questions for consolidation - Click Here

Alternative Transition Resources

If you just want to assess how much you understand then this site has a series of self marking exam papers, which you can repeat as it generates variations of the questions each time you do a set of questions.  Answers are given but unless you pay you can't see working out, therefore it is good for practice only and not for learning - Click Here

This booklet of questions highlights some of the key topics and has examples, questions and solutions - Click here

A third option is to work your way through these Hegarty Maths series - you will find the solutions to the exercises in pdf form in the video description with download in the link - Click here
